I've loved following local designer Megan Huntz's work for some time now (www.meganhuntz.com | ig: @meganhuntz), introduced by seeing her work looking amazing on a friend, and last night I finally had the chance to meet the lovely lady! It coincided with a chance to also finally visit longtime Insta-crush The Sentimentalist, a little shop of designer and vintage bridal wear and accessories on the westside.
Needless to say, it felt like quite a momentous visit, having the chance to meet and mingle with some really stellar (and talented!) company in this seriously charming Westside bungalow.
Gabi Lee of The Sentimentalist (www.thesentimentalistatl.com | ig: @thesentimentalistatl), was wearing a perfect LBD by Megan, couldn't be sweeter and runs one of the most beautiful bridal shops I've ever seen...I'd happily wed atleast six times given the "perfect dress" after "perfect dress" I encountered. What a pleasure to meet her and know where I'll be found before I head down the aisle...hopefully just once, so I'll try to decide on the One (dress) in the meantime.
Then there's Megan. Such talent, great personal style and a truly remarkable eye...not to mention she's a lovely person. She created several beautiful dress with The Sentimentalist (pictured above and below) and also had some RTW options as bridesmaids selections - genius - I'm talking cobalt, emerald, soft grays…unique bridesmaids dresses you actually will wear again, consider it a stylish favor to your friends. Her work is flattering and nails it all around: Sophisticated, sexy, classic, bold... from her use of hand dyed rich colors, buttery silk charmeuse and immaculate stitching.
For my brief visit and the chance to meet (and run into) such great company this evening, I can certainly say I was swept off my feet...Love you ladies and best wishes for a bright future of more beautiful work!
