South's Finest: Billy Reid Takes The Westside

Heard the great news recently (via @tonetoatlanta) that Alabama-based, CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award winner Billy Reid, is about to bring his Southern-inspired designs to Atlanta in April, taking up shop in the ever-stylish Westside. 

You have to love his devotion to craftsmanship and old-world styling, really crazy about his aesthetic - it just looks, feels and fits just right! Top it all off with a beautiful Stetson.

The fashion ante is about to be upped, and I look forward to offering Reid a big, warm welcome to Atlanta! Check out photos from the NYFW Spring 2012 presentation...

Shop: Scott Antique Market, January

What better place to start than with the Scott Antique Market, my favorite monthly happening – a mecca of all things old and wonderful – just a quick drive away at the Atlanta Expo Centers off I-285 (schedule and directions available here). Check out the next show February 10-11 and the second weekend of every month.

Dubbed the “world’s largest indoor antique market,” Scott's offers over 360,000 sq. feet of vintage paradise; complete with two buildings and plenty of outdoor vendors (my favorite). Prices do vary; I tend to hang out at the South building rummaging through the wares of outdoor vendors.
