So, I really hate to do this...to spill the beans on my absolute favorite spot for vintage shopping in Atlanta: Antique Factory. A place where the condition, price and variety of pieces is simply unbeatable, especially ITP. Chamblee is home to Antique Row, a bit of a mecca for Atlantans in search of decently priced antique finds. The shops lining Broad Street are fantastic (check out the costume jewelry at Broad Street Antique Mall), but my first stop is always the little warehouse at the top of the hill!
Shelly and Rachel at Antique Factory curate some fabulous pieces, from all eras, designers and styles. It's a fascinating trip through decades of fashion. I've scored countless items from this spot, and my packed closet is all the better thanks to these folks. With a pretty steady stream of new merchandise (well..."new"), it's so easy to spy something different every time you go in. Hope you can stop by soon and experience this place for yourself - you'll be back for more, I guarantee it.
I'm stopping by tomorrow to pick up an oxblood velvet pantsuit, circa 1970...jealous much? Get you some!

While at Antique Factory, I had the pleasure of running into Ariee of Agora in Athens, another regional staple for amazing vintage finds. They have a fantastic event coming up next week (Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.) benefitting AIDS Athens and showcasing the fantastic local businesses in the world's best college town (pardon the bias). Tickets are $12 and include food from some incredible eateries. Check out more details on the event's Facebook page HERE and hope to see you there!
