Fashion: Street Style, Blogger Edition

If you're even halfway interested in the fashion world, then ya get the importance of street style photography, the rise of the blogger and the power of Pinterest. There is so much inspiration out there these days it can be too much to process. The following are some of my favorite fashion bloggers, incidentally also street style darlings.

Also below, some fashion-y fashion music (inc. cool discovery of Little Dragon via @imdjdddave, holla!).

1. Garance Dore, Garance Dore

Chances are that when you date men like Scott Schuman (The Sartorialist), rub shoulders with girls like Emanuelle Alt and Isabelle Marant, AND are French to boot, you're going to look pretty damn good...without even trying.

A photographer/illustrator, Garance is the master (mistress?) of being dressed down to perfection and repurposing menswear. I met her at an Atlanta exhibit of Schuman's work and love her humor and down-to-earthness! She understands the need to just have fun with fashion! Can we please be friends, Garance?

2. Natalie Joos, Tales of Endearment

Again under Women I Want to be Friends With/Raid their Closet: Natalie Joos (also mentioned here). I'm really obsessed with her in a completely healthy and fabulous way. She's most often shot wearing bright combinations of vintage with edgy or undiscovered designers - always keeps vintage looking fresh. Her site Tales of Endearment (love the name) is one of my all-time faves.

3. Elin Kling, Style By Kling

This Swedish blogger/stylist does the dark look oh so well with lots of black and great layers (Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone, Isabel Marant, Theyskens Theory, etc.). As black is a no-fail wardrobe staple, we can all take a cue from Elin ...she's the reason I'm investing in pointed heels and waxed denim. Polished and edgy.
